The Golem & the Jinni — inspired by the meeting of silver and gold. Meet the designers 📖 ✨
Each month at FORGE, we present independent designers united by a new theme. In 2026, our showcases draw from book titles connected to distinguished jewellers.
March’s showcase is inspired by award-winning silversmith Jessica Jue and celebrates the dialogue between silver and gold.
Known for sculptural forms enriched with 24-carat gold, Jessica reimagines silversmithing through warmth, contrast and balance. This exhibition brings together designers exploring that same relationship — gold with silver, light with shadow, strength with delicacy.
“for the jinn are natural metalsmiths… He could work the metals into strands no thicker than a hair, or into sheets, or twisted ropes….”— The Golem and the Jinni, Helene Wecker
An idea of metal shaped with extraordinary sensitivity runs throughout the showcase — from subtle gold accents to bold structural contrasts, each piece reflecting skill, material understanding and intent.
Meet the Maker Private View on Thursday 12 March, 6–8pm.
